A material is verified in the lab, not on a copied certificate.

S235 steel delivered instead of S355, 201 stainless steel sold as 304, an aluminum profile whose alloy or temper does not meet the specifications, a 3.1 certificate photocopied from another batch: with materials, the most costly fraud is also the most invisible.

On the ground

Our teams, as close to the factories as possible.

We work with the major manufacturing hubs, such as Tangshan (Hebei), China's leading steel city, Dali in Foshan for aluminum extrusion, or Baotou (Inner Mongolia) for rare earths, and with traders we audit. Every order specifies the standard (EN, ASTM, JIS), grade, condition, tolerances and certificate type, EN 10204 3.1 by default. We cross-check certificates against product marking, have samples analyzed by an independent lab (composition, tensile strength, hardness, coating thickness), calculate landed cost with applicable duties, and collect the emissions data required under CBAM.

Scope

What we take care of.

Standards & grades

EN, ASTM, JIS or GB with verified equivalencies; grade, condition, dimensions and tolerances written into the purchase order.

Verified certificates

EN 10204 3.1 certificates matched against the marking and heat numbers; actual producer identified.

Laboratory testing

Composition, tensile strength, hardness, impact resistance, galvanizing or anodizing thickness, on independent samples.

Duties & CBAM

Customs classification, anti-dumping and safeguard duties checked before ordering; emissions data collected for your CBAM declaration.

Cutting & processing

Cut-to-length, laser cutting, bending, drilling or powder coating at the supplier, for parts ready to use.

Packing & loading

Strapping, corrosion protection, dunnage and load distribution checked at loading.

Process

How we work.

  1. Specification

Standard, grade, dimensions, tolerances, certificates, quantities and schedule; customs classification checked.

  2. Producers & quotes

Audited steel mills, rollers, extruders or traders; quotes compared on a landed cost basis, duties included.

  3. Batch control

Certificate and marking verification, sampling, lab testing, dimensional measurements.

  4. Loading & delivery

Cargo and loading inspection, customs and CBAM documents, delivery to your warehouse.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Can you deliver small quantities?

Steel mills sell by the ton and by heat; for small quantities, we go through audited service centers and traders, and your materials travel with your other purchases in a consolidated container.

How do you handle anti-dumping duties?

By checking them before ordering: customs classification, actual origin, producer. We neither practice nor advise any circumvention; if the duty makes the purchase unprofitable, we tell you and propose another origin or another product.

What does CBAM change for me?

Depending on your volumes, importing steel or aluminum into the EU requires you to declare the embedded emissions of those products and bear the carbon cost. We obtain emissions data from the producer and factor it into the landed cost from the quote stage.

What about neodymium magnets?

We specify the grade (N35 to N52), the coating, the maximum operating temperature and the direction of magnetization, then measure the flux on a sample. Some rare-earth magnets may require an export license in China: we check this before committing to a lead time.

Which rules apply to these products?

Add to that anti-dumping duties and safeguard measures, which target many steel products and derivatives and sometimes vary from one producer to another, and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM): since 2026, steel and aluminum imported into the EU carry a carbon cost calculated on the emissions declared by the factory.
