Frequently asked questions about quality control.
What is AQL and which level should you choose?
AQL (ISO 2859-1) sets the sample size and the number of defects tolerated. By default: 0 critical, 2.5 major, 4.0 minor — adjusted to your product and your customers.
What happens if a batch is rejected?
We send the report to the factory, negotiate sorting or rework at its expense, then re-inspect. The supplier contract covers these cases.
Are your inspectors independent?
Yes: NOVASEA employees, never paid by the factory, rotated between suppliers, signatories of an anti-corruption charter and audited every year.
Do you inspect outside China?
Yes, in Vietnam, India and Bangladesh, with our inspectors or partners audited according to our procedures.
