Industrial machinery sourcing

A machine is accepted at the factory, not at your dock.

Machining centers, laser cutting, presses, robots, packaging lines or turnkey factories: we select the manufacturer, write the specification, attend acceptance testing and organize transport through to installation.

Buying a machine means buying ten years of production, parts and service.

A flattering spec sheet says nothing about the rigidity of a frame, the actual brand of the CNC machine, the servomotors or the hydraulic circuit, nor about the manufacturer's ability to supply a spare part three years from now.

On the ground

Our teams, as close to the factories as possible.

Our mechanical and electrical engineers start from your requirements: parts to be produced, cycle times, tolerances, available power, and the standards of the country of installation. We consult several manufacturers, visit their workshops and machines in service, compare quotes component by component, then have your test parts produced and attend the factory acceptance test (FAT) with your protocol. Before shipment, we check the technical file, the nameplate, the manual in your language and the packaging; for complete lines, we organize open top containers, flat racks or conventional transport, then commissioning with the manufacturer's technicians.

Scope

What we take care of.

Technical specification

Parts, cycle times, tolerances, grid voltage and frequency, standards of the country of installation: everything is written before the first quotation.

Locked bill of materials

Brand and model of the CNC, spindle, servo motors, PLC and hydraulics written into the contract, with no substitution.

CE, UKCA, North America

Risk analysis, guards, electrical equipment, technical file and declaration verified; Regulation 2023/1230 anticipated.

Factory acceptance test

FAT according to your protocol: test parts measured, cycle time clocked, safety devices tested, photo and video report.

Parts & service

Costed list of wear and spare parts, startup stock, remote support, warranty and response times in the contract.

Transport & installation

Sea crate, open top or flat rack container, breakbulk for out-of-gauge items, commissioning and on-site training.

Process

How we work.

  1. Requirement & specification

Parts to produce, run rates, workshop constraints, budget; drafting of the specification and the acceptance protocol.

  2. Manufacturers & quotes

Consultation with several manufacturers, visits to workshops and machines in operation, quotes compared component by component.

  3. Production & testing

Monitoring of assembly, factory acceptance test with your parts, clearance of reservations before payment of the balance.

  4. Shipping & commissioning

Inspection of packaging and loading, transport, customs clearance, installation and training at your site.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Can a Chinese machine be CE marked?

Yes, if the manufacturer has actually carried out the risk assessment, designed the guards and electrical equipment accordingly, and compiled the technical file. We verify this on the machine itself, not just on a certificate; any necessary adaptations are costed before the order.

What changes with the 2027 Machinery Regulation?

From January 20, 2027, Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 replaces Directive 2006/42/EC: new requirements, notably for cybersecurity, and digital instructions are now permitted. For any machine placed on the market after that date, we have the file prepared under the new rules.

Can you supply a complete production line?

Yes: several machines from different manufacturers, conveyors, automation and supervisory control. We appoint a lead contractor, have the assembled line tested at the factory where possible, and coordinate installation.

Who provides after-sales service?

The manufacturer, under the terms we negotiate before the order: warranty, remote support, spare-parts lead times, technician visits. We plan a wear-parts stock with you at start-up.

What rules apply to these products?

On compliance, CE marking assumes a risk assessment, guards, electrical equipment and a technical file that are genuinely in place (EN ISO 12100, EN 60204-1); too many certificates presented by factories do not cover the machine delivered. The Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, which replaces Directive 2006/42/EC from January 20, 2027, adds new requirements, notably for cybersecurity, and North America has its own standards (NFPA 79, UL 508A for control panels).
